Cory Keck
     Cory Keck has been a professional dance instructor for several years. He teaches private lessons as well as group classes including teaching the Friday Night 7p.m. lesson before Studio B Dance Center's weekly Ballroom Mix Party's.
     Cory will teach you anything in American Smooth & Rhythm but just wants his students to have fun with whatever they do.
     Outside of dance, Cory is a musician with the band "Bad Dog Stay" where he plays guitar and sings.

• Finalist - Dancing with the Missouri Stars - 2007/2008

Cory is not currently competing professionally. He does compete with his students.

Diana Roberts

     Diana Roberts is a highly accredited ballroom instructor from St. Louis, Missouri. Along with her former professional partner, Alan Clements, Diana has won over 20 Professional Dance Titles.
     One of Diana’s most prestigious awards includes being a two time consecutive winner of the “Sammy” award, which is given to the Top Female Pro/Am teacher in North America at the Ohio Star Ball.
     During the week, Diana teaches dance here at Studio B Dance Center in Columbia on Mondays, in St. Louis other days and twice a month at Walters Dance Center in Kansas City. She teaches all levels of dance and also coaches the dance instructors of tomorrow.

Diana is currently retired from competing professionally. She does compete with her students.

Michael Shultz

     Michael Shultz is a dedicated instructor to all his students. Throughout his years as a professional dancer, Michael has achieved many titles in his career including being a finalist at the North American DanceSport Championships at the Ohio Star Ball. Michael has also won Top Teacher at many events across the county and has helped his studios win Top Studio at several competitions. Michael is certified at Gold level and a member of the USISTD and NDCA.
     Students from Studio B have gone with Michael annually to the St. Louis Star ball in March of each year as well as the Heart of America Ball in Kansas City in August, and various other competitions around the country.

Lila Shultz
     Lila Shultz’s vast résumé includes ballet, ballroom, jazz, tap and figure skating with Disney on Ice (1998-2001). Lila teaches out of Kansas City and also comes to Studio B Dance Center during the week as well. She and her students have traveled the country for Pro/Am to the Ohio Star Ball in Columbus, St. Louis Star Ball and Heart of America DanceSport Championship in Kansas City.
     Lila and her partner have won first place at the Yuletide Ball Championship as well as being a finalist at the Ohio Star Ball. She has also helped her studios to achieve Top Studio Awards on several occasions. Lila is a member of both USISTD and NDCA.

Rafael Labrado
     Rafael Labrado is a three-time winner of the prestigious Top Teacher award at the Heart of America DanceSport Championships. Originally from Mexico, Rafael moved to Kansas City to train for Olympic Gymnastics, however, he was sidelined due to injury and thankfully focused all his attention on dance and begun teaching in 1995.
     Rafael has trained with several nationally recognized teachers including Tommy Giacchino and Gregory Day, Jean-Marc Genereux, Tony Meredith and Melanie Lapatin of Fox’s So You Think You Can Dance, Karina Smirnoff of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars and our own Diana Roberts and visiting coach John Swick.

• 2 Students in the Top 20 DanceSport Superbowl
• 2nd & 4th Place in several Open Pro – American Rhythm

James Netherton
     James Netherton competes with students and his partner around the country. Based out of Kansas City, he travels back and fourth to Columbia for his students at Studio B. James began dancing at the age of 15 but took a ten year break but made a full return and has been working hard to improve ever since. With his teacher, Diana Roberts of Studio B, he won 1st Place in Pro/Am 3-times at St. Louis Star Ball and 5-times at Heart of America DanceSport Championships. He turned professional in August 2005.
     James has been trained by internationally recognized teachers, Diana Roberts and John Swick of Studio B, Tony Meredith, Melanie Lapatin and Jean-Marc Cenereux of Fox’s So You Think You Can Dance, Karina Smirnoff of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars and dance champion Dianne Gingerich.

Tyle "Angel" Tonini
     Tyle “Angel” Tonini started dancing in 10th grade at Ritmo Latino where she fell in love with Latin/Rhythm dancing. Angel’s areas of expertise lie in the club style Latin dances such as Salsa, Merengue, and Bachata. She has been dancing now for seven years!
     Her mother encouraged her to take professional lessons her senior year of High School to take her dancing to another level. Here, she became certified in Bronze, Silver and Gold Salsa.
Angel’s life as an instructor has taken her from teaching quinceneras to classes at Tropicana in Columiba and now to our studio, Studio B!

• 2nd in Silver and Gold Salsa
World Salsa Federation – Miami, Fl

Angel is currently taking a break from competing to focus on school.
She specializes in Club Latin dances such as Salsa and Bachata.

Kyle Snow
     Kyle Snow has been dancing for over 20 years. He is a proficient dancer in Waltz, Cha Cha, East Coast Sing and even Country Western. He has competed around the state and country with several excellent results!
     Kyle has taught in Kansas City and St. Louis, as well as being based out of Columbia. He was also a guest instructor at the Swing Niagara in Buffalo, New York.
